Welcome to Vermont

Vermont Home Loans and Home Mortgages Vermont revels in outdoor beauty, good food, and the preservation of unique small towns and cities. Vermont is an inland state that has beaches and water sports at Lake Champlain, along with many streams and swimming holes. This state has one major city, Burlington, which hums with community spirit and cultural activity. Manchester and its surrounding towns distill all the pleasures of Vermont, from inns to dining to mountainside fun.

Vermont is known as the Green Mountain State - and in October this is proven! The mountains turn a bright green and there's no shortage of Fall Festivals. There's also no shortage if you've looking for a good Farmers Market. From Montpelier to Burlington to Brattleboro, Vermont is known for its strong agricultural roots. You can find up to 100 vendors in each town's market. You're sure to find a surplus of farm fresh, totally organic options.

Vermont takes a lot of pride in its agricultural industry. The latest step they've taken to help promote organic, natural products is passing a law that requires genetically modified food to be labeled as such. With all the local farms, newly implemented GMO labeling laws, and all of the outdoor activities - it's no wonder that Vermont has been ranked Number 1 in health of all states by the United Health Foundation for 4 years running.

Snow sports in the Northeast are centralized in Vermont for good reason, with Mount Snow, Stowe, Stratton, Killington, and Sugarbush Resorts (and so much more). There's plenty of room for all skiers and snowboarders to explore.

There's no limit to Vermont's natural beauty, but if you're looking for a photo-op we'd recommend visiting Windsor-Cornish Bridge, the largest single span covered bridge in the country. If you can't make it to that specific bridge - no worries! There are over 100 covered bridges in the state.
